How can I contact customer service?

What is your return policy?
YOU MUST CONTACT US for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number prior to returning any products.
All returns must be completed within 30 days of receipt of the order.
Custom products are non-refundable unless due to a Nap Industrial Group error. Please check your order for correct spelling, size and quantity immediately upon delivery.
No returns will be accepted after 30 days of receipt of product.
Is there a minimum order amount?
Yes, each product has a set minimum order quantity. This quantity is indicated on the product pages.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
We highly suggest setting up an account when placing your online order. This will help speed up placing future orders and ensure your previous orders and engraving details are accurately matched.
However, if you prefer not to create an account, you can check out as a guest.
Can I add to or change an existing order?
If your order has not yet been processed, you may be able to change or add to your order. Call 1-800-451-3330 to inquire.
Can I cancel my order?
If no work has been completed on your order you may be able to cancel. Contact customer service immediately to inquire. 1-800-451-3330
How will I know you received my online order?
You will receive an order acknowledgement via the email used to place your order.
What is your standard production time?
Most in stock items ship within 3 business days. Custom-made items ship within 8 to 12 business days.
Business days are Mon – Fri.
Can I get my order shipped to me faster?
Orders can receive expedited production time for a $50 fee. Expedited shipping is also available.

How can I track the shipping of my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation, including a shipping tracking number.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged at the time you place your online order.
Can my company be set up on payment terms?
Yes, net 30 is available for qualified customers. Call to request an application. 1-800-451-3330
If I am an tax exempt business, how can I place my order?
For tax exempt purchases you can call to place your order at 1-800-451-3330 or, if you place your order online, please email a copy of your tax exempt certificate to info@napindgroup.com so that your tax can be reimbursed. Please include your order number in your email.
Can I get a product sample?
Upon request, we can provide a sample of similar materials or a comparable marking process for the product you are considering. Please contact us.
What is the difference between engraving and UV printing?
Engraving involves physically etching or carving into the surface of a material using a sharp tool or laser. The material is removed from the surface to create a permanent design, pattern, or text.
UV printing uses ultraviolet light to cure ink as it is printed onto a surface. The printer applies a liquid ink (UV ink), which is then immediately dried or cured using UV light, making it adhere to the surface without smudging or fading.

3M Peel-n-Stick adhesive backing is available for most materials.

What kind of artwork can I send?
Acceptable art formats include: Illustrator eps or ai file (vector image) with text converted to outlines, CorelDraw cdr files, High Res PDF (300 dpi).
Any other art files may require an art fee.

How do I provide an Excel file, graphics or text?
On each product page you have the ability to upload an Excel file and graphics or you can input your custom text.
If you have difficulty with that, please email them to info@napindgroup.com after you place your order, and include your order number on theemail.
Am I able to get a proof prior to production?
Yes, digital proofs are provided when requested. Indicate you would like a proof in the comment section while in the cart.
What is the difference between vector art and rastor art?
Vector art is created using mathematical equations to form paths (lines, curves, and shapes). These paths can be scaled infinitely without losing quality. Common file formats for vector art include .AI (Adobe Illustrator), .SVG, .EPS, and .PDF.
Raster art is created using a grid of tiny pixels, each with its own color. Raster images are fixed in resolution, meaning if you scale them up, they can become pixelated or blurry. Common file formats for raster art include .JPEG, .PNG, .GIF, and .TIFF.
Are you able to produce my barcodes or do I need to supply to you?
We do have the capability to create barcodes. If necessary, you may be required to submit specific data to create the barcodes.
Can I put a logo on my tags?
Yes, we can add logos. Logos work best with printed materials.
For engraving, call to determine if your logo will work for this marking process.
What happens if I approved a digital proof but find an error after the product is produced?
We provide a digital proof for you to review and to ensure all the information for your order is correct.
Please note that once you approve the digital proof and we proceed with production, any changes after that will require a new purchase.
The original payment covers the labor and materials for manufacturing the job, and remaking the order comes with additional costs, which are reflected in the reorder price.
We’re here to help ensure everything is perfect before moving forward, and we appreciate your understanding!
Is there an additional charge for uploaded images or graphic design work?
There’s no additional charge for uploading images or graphics, as long as they are in an acceptable file format and meet our quality standards.
However, if any extra work is needed to ensure the image is high resolution and of good quality, a small additional fee will apply.
We’re here to make sure your images look their best, and we’ll gladly assist with any adjustments necessary!
Is there an additional charge if all my tags have different text?
There is no additional fee for tags with different (variable) text, as long as the variable text is provided in an Excel file.
By providing us with an Excel file for variable text, you can be assured to receive exactly the text you need for your project.
For orders that use consecutive numbering, an Excel file is not required.

How long have you been in business?
NapTag was stared in 2008, after purchasing a small business that specialized in supplies for the automotive service industry, including brass tags for labeling. We saw an opportunity to supply these tags to many other types of businesses and have grown to where we are now.
What types of products do you offer?
In addition to the tags you see on this website, we also offer nameplates and signage for offices, and supplies for auto service and sales centers.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Mon-Thurs from 8am – 4pm and Friday from 8am – 3pm.
We are closed on major holidays.
Who started NapTags?
NapTags was founded by Bob Napieralski and he was our President and CEO (and R&D and daily inspiration) until his passing on March 19, 2023.
Do you have other brands?
Yes! Our NapTags brand is how you know us here, but we also operate NapNameplates.com, NapSupply.com and NapADASigns.com.
Our businesses are all divisions of Nap Industrial Group, NapIndGroup.com.
